Target Haul!

I decided i needed some new makeup the other day and took a trip to Target thinking that I wouldn't spend too much  money on drugstore products, but as usual, I ended up spending more than I had hoped.

I snapped some quick photos, but obviously I don't have too many photography skills under my belt and the lighting is horrible and some of the colors are off.

I'll start with the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow. The color is number 25 Bad to the Bronze and I am loving this so far. I think I much prefer cream eyeshadows over powder.
Now this is where the colors don't come out right. The Revlon nail polish is most definitely not that orange in person. It's a coral color number 110 called Marmalade. The Essie nail polish is from the lux effects collections and is called "Set in Stones." I'm obsessed with this one.

This is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 040 Rendezvous. I, like everyone else, love these and already had one, but the name of it is slipping my mind at the moment. The lighting in this picture also distorts the color. The swatch looks bright orange, but it is a bit more coraly in actual life.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Brightener. I love the applicator on this. you twist it up and the product fills into the spongey applicator at the top and you just swipe it under your eyes. I was really looking for something to brighten up my eyes, but I am still undecided on this one. It is summer (obviously) and I have gotten quite tan and this shade is very like for my skin even as a brightener, but I am still able to make it work. Not completely sold on this.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 250 Fresh Beige. In my life, I've owned maybe 2 or 3 other drugstore liquid foundations and no high-end ones as i don't  particularly wear liquid foundation often. I just thought I'd try this out since I've heard probably the best things about it compared to other drugstore foundations. I was really worried about picking the right color for my skin, but ended up hitting it right on the dot. I haven't used this much, so I don't have a solid opinion on it yet.

Here's a random. I already got rid of the packaging for this, but it's a Glade candle in the scent "Clean Linen" and it smells like, well... clean linens! I've always loved these type of smells and had to have it in candle form. It was $2.99 so I figured why not?

Last, but MOST DEFINITELY not least, the Pixi endless silky eye pen in Oyster Glow. It's worth the $15. Please go buy one if you don't own one already. That's all i have to say about this.

And here's a better picture of the swatch. These eye pens are seriously endless and seriously silky.

That's all guys!

First Post- Birthday Haul!

Hello Everyone!
If anyone is there. This is my first blog post so it's highly likely that no one's reading this and I'm just typing to myself which is fine with me. I decided to start this blog and may also start making youtube videos, but I'm not positive about that yet. I have a lot of things to work out with my camera equipment and such.

Anyways, My name is Callie and I'm 20 years old if anyone is hypothetically reading this :)

For my first post I decided to do a little birthday haul since my birthday was about a week ago now so let's jump in.

From my wonderful boyfriend, I got two perfumes that I have been really wanting:
He got me this Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy gift set from Sephora. It's amazing and i love this scent. It includes the eau de parfum, shower gel, and body lotion. Plus, the packaging is super adorable.

He also got me this cute little rollerball perfume called Sugar Lychee by Fresh. We have both been loving the Fresh fragrances and his current fragrance is Cannibas Santal by Fresh. It's a unisex sent, but quite manly and musky. Both have great lasting power and smell awesome. Sugar Lychee reminds me a bit of Lemon Pledge....yes, what you use for dusting...which may not sound too appealing, but I guess you'll just have to smell it for yourselves :)

Over the weekend me and my mom went to the mall to do some birthday shopping.

See those amazing flats? Yes! I have been wanting studded flats for so long. I walked into ALDO and fell in love with those babies so quick I HAD to have them. The little studded bag/wristlet and the denim shirt are both from urbanoutfitters, and the high waisted shorts are from Heritage.

Well, now I'm gonna be checking out some blogs, gathering some tips, and subscribing to other people. If you like what you've seen here so far go right ahead and subscribe! I plan to be keeping up with this and posting often.
